The artist set his easel on College Street to create this accurate study of the college entrance. Even the scholars in the courtyard were painted from life.

Many hours were spent painting and capturing some of the staff and customers that make this bar a great meeting place. More detail may be seen here.

Painted towards autumn when the leaves were beginning to turn.

A view from under the pulpit looking towards the west window which was renovated in the 17th century after destruction by Cromwell's troops. The artist has remained true to reality, even though the stained glass looks like modern abstract art.

The artist worked at this location five times and, each time, he said he enjoyed the sounds of choir practice from the Pilgrims' School from the left.

Some of the mediaeval fresco can be seen through the archway. The right hand pillar has fallen and the doorway has distorted because of subsidence.

The visiting choir of St James' Church Sydney stored their scarlet robes here whilst the artist was working on this corner of the cathedral.

The artist used licence and reduced the number of trees so that the buildings could be seen. The number of cars were also obviously reduced.

Painted over a dozen sessions with Sylva - the busker - added towards the end.
